This course covers various welding techniques, including soft soldering, arc welding, oxy-acetylene welding, oxy-acetylene cutting, and brazing. Soft soldering is ideal for joining small, intricate metal parts without causing deformation. Manual arc welding, one of the simplest methods, utilizes an electric arc for fusion. Oxy-acetylene welding, or gas welding, combines oxygen and acetylene in a hand-held torch, producing a flame with a temperature of approximately 3,200°C. Oxy-acetylene equipment includes separate gas tubes, control valves, a mixer chamber, and a flame tube, allowing for precise control over the welding process. This course provides foundational skills in these essential welding techniques.
